MCLEAN, VA—Hilton recently opened two Embassy Suites and one Home2 Suites. The hospitality group also added three properties from major American cities to its Curio Collection. Also in the news, there’s now a nut-free cookie alternative for DoubleTree by Hilton guests with nut allergies.
Embassy Suites by Hilton Debuts in Syracuse, NY, Amarillo, TX
Embassy Suites by Hilton Syracuse Destiny USA has opened. Owned by Pyramid Management, the 209-suite property is managed by Aimbridge Hospitality. The property has 10,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Additional amenities include an indoor heated pool, a fitness center, a full-service restaurant and a 24-hour convenience shop.
There’s also now an Embassy Suites by Hilton in Amarillo, TX. Owned by NewcrestImage, the 226-suite property has 19,000 sq. ft. of meeting space. Additional amenities include an indoor pool with whirlpool, a fitness center with dry sauna, and two full-service restaurants on-site with bar lounge and patio seating. The hotel also has 1887 Social House, a restaurant created by Kyle Johnson, the property’s F&B director, in collaboration with NewcrestImage.
Home2 Suites by Hilton Dickson City Scranton Opens
Owned and managed by Millett Real Estate Inc., this Home2 Suites by Hilton property has all-suite accommodations with fully equipped kitchens and modular furniture. The hotel also has complimentary internet, communal spaces, and trademark Home2 Suites amenities, including Spin2 Cycle, a combined laundry and fitness area; Home2 MKT for grab-and-go items; and the Inspired Table, a complimentary daily breakfast that includes more than 400 potential combinations. There’s also an indoor saline pool and whirlpool. Home2 Suites by Hilton Dickson City Scranton is also pet-friendly.
Hilton Adds Three Properties to Curio Collection
Hilton has added three properties to its Curio Collection—Martinique New York located on Broadway in New York; The Charter Seattle in Seattle; and The Cincinnatian Hotel in Cincinnati.

DoubleTree by Hilton hotels are now offering Homefree nut-free chocolate chip mini cookies at guest check-in as a nut-free alternative to its chocolate chip cookies.
