Hilton Expands Resort Portfolio to Jordan

MCLEAN, VA—The Hilton Dead Sea Resort & Spa has opened, marking the brand’s first property in Jordan. Located on the eastern shores of the Dead Sea, the 285-room hotel is accessible to the capital city of Amman and Queen Alia International Airport.

The hotel provides exclusive direct beach access through two elevators that lead to a floating pool surrounded by a sun deck. Guestrooms offer views over the Dead Sea and feature terraces and contemporary amenities including WiFi, a 24-hour fitness center and an infinity pool. The executive rooms and suites have access to an executive lounge.

Seven new dining outlets present a variety of cuisines and concepts coupled with an active entertainment schedule. Spectrum is an all-day dining restaurant; Middle Eastern cuisine is served at 1312; authentic Italian specialties are available at Bacchus; and poolside snacks and refreshments are provided at Infinity. In addition, there is the Beach Bar, Sky Bar and VUE lobby lounge.

“The Dead Sea is one of the most unique places in the world and has evolved into a major hub of both religious and health and wellness tourism in the region,” said Andreas Lackner, regional head, full-service brand management, Hilton. “As the first Hilton Hotels & Resorts property in the country of Jordan, this project marks an exciting addition to the Hilton portfolio as we continue to deliver distinct hospitality experiences to travelers from around the globe.”
