MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO, CANADA—Following its recent acquisition of the Delta Hotels & Resorts portfolio, Hilton Hotels & Resorts has reflagged and reopened the former Delta Meadowvale Hotel and Conference Centre here as the Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale.
The hotel was recently acquired by a private Canadian real estate investment group with the sale brokered by the Toronto office of CBRE Limited. The hotel will be managed by Hilton.
Commenting on the hotel, Rob Palleschi, global head, full service brands, Hilton Worldwide, stated, “Along with its sister properties, Hilton Toronto/Markham Suites Conference Centre & Spa, Hilton Toronto and Hilton Toronto Airport Hotel, the new Hilton Mississauga/Meadowvale will bolster the brand’s presence in the Greater Toronto area.”
The hotel offers 374 recently renovated guestrooms in two towers and more than 40,000 sq. ft. of meeting and banquet facilities consisting of two ballrooms, 40 meeting rooms and a dedicated foyer.
The recently renovated Quest Restaurant and Bar serves global cuisine, and Chop Steakhouse is set to open later this summer. Arabica, situated on the lobby level, is a bistro-style “grab-and-go” coffee bar, serving baked goods, pastries, sandwiches, beverages and Starbucks coffee and is open daily during morning hours.
Recreational amenities include a 165-ft. indoor waterside, seasonal outdoor saltwater pool, a putting green, indoor saltwater swimming pool, a bi-level 40,000-sq-ft. fitness center, four indoor tennis courts and five international indoor squash courts.
Located on 15 acres of the Meadowvale Business Park, the hotel is 15 minutes from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport.
