Hilton Brings Dual-Brand to Denver
Hilton has opened the dual-branded Tru by Hilton Denver Airport Tower Road and Homewood Suites by Hilton Denver Airport Tower Road, bringing a total of 186 new rooms to the Denver area. Owned by DIA Yampa Street Development LLC and managed by Baywood Hotels, the properties are proximate to downtown Denver, Mile High Stadium, Elitch Gardens, Coors Field and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science.
Carté Hotel Opens in San Diego’s Little Italy
Carté Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton, is open in San Diego’s Little Italy neighborhood. The 246-room property was designed by The Manchette Studio, celebrating the community’s nautical heritage and architecture. The hotel is close to the Embarcadero waterfront and the downtown business district and is operated by Interstate Hotels & Resorts.
Hotel Equities Welcomes Home2 Suites by Hilton in Houston
Atlanta-based Hotel Equities has opened the Home2 Suites by Hilton-Rosenberg Sugar Land Area, located in Richmond, TX. The 100-room, all-suite Hilton hotel is owned by Riverpointe Hospitality LLC. Hotel Equities will operate the hotel under direct leadership of the firm’s regional team in Texas, which includes all disciplines including operations, revenue management, accounting, sales and marketing. The property is near the Houston Zoo and First Colony Mall.
The Bevy Hotel Opens With Texas Decor
The Bevy Hotel, a 120-room, full-service hotel and conference center, has opened part of the DoubleTree family. The Bevy is located in Boerne, TX, close to Hill Country Mile. It is also near wineries, state parks and San Antonio. The modern hotel, designed by MatchLine Design Group, includes guestrooms and suites with Texas-style decor, as well as fixtures and finishes that are entirely American-made; the millwork throughout the hotel—from the ceilings to the furniture and bars—is handmade locally and installed by local craftsmen.
Home2 Suites Opens in Jekyll Island, GA
Home2 Suites by Hilton has opened Home2 Suites by Hilton Jekyll Island. The hotel has 107 suites and is owned by BA Jekyll Village LLC and managed by Buckhead America. The property is close to shopping centers, including Jekyll Island Convention Center and the Village Green, and is across the street from The Corsair Beach Park, Jekyll Island Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. It’s also proximate to Jacksonville International Airport.
Home2 Suites Expands in Virginia
Home2 Suites by Hilton has opened Home2 Suites by Hilton Woodbridge Potomac Mills in Woodbridge, VA. The hotel has 126 suites and is owned by Prince William—Telegraph Rd LLC and managed by HMP Properties. The property is close to Washington National Airport, Fort Belvoir and Quantico.
Tapestry Collection Moves into Maryland
This month, Tapestry Collection by Hilton welcomes The Bethesdan Hotel to its portfolio as the brand’s first property in Maryland. Set in downtown Bethesda, MD, guests have access to Washington, DC attractions. Each of The Bethesdan’s 270 guestrooms has floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the surrounding city.
