Hilton Brands Target Growth in 2018

MCLEAN, VA—Whether soft brands or upscale, select-service offerings, Hilton’s 2018 is off to a busy start. Here’s the latest for the company’s Curio Collection, Tapestry Collection and Hilton Garden Inn.

Hilton’s Collection Brands Launch Major Expansion in 2018

Curio Collection by Hilton and Tapestry Collection by Hilton are kicking off 2018 with more than 75 hotels in the pipeline combined.

“Our robust pipeline will soon bring Curio Collection by Hilton to over 100 hotels and resorts by 2020,” said Mark Nogal, global head, Curio Collection by Hilton.

Hilton will welcome the following hotels to Curio in early 2018: Hotel Saranac in Saranac Lake, NY; Niepce Paris; Maison Astor Paris; Iceland’s Reykjavik Konsulat Hotel; The Porter Portland in Portland, OR; and Gran Hotel Costa Rica.

Additionally, The Graham Hotel Washington DC and Hotel Ballast Wilmington in North Carolina will join the Tapestry Collection in early 2018.

Franchise licensed agreements that have recently been signed include the following: The Higgins Hotel New Orleans, Curio Collection by Hilton; The Rose Hotel Chicago, Tapestry Collection by Hilton; The Melbourne Downtown Hotel, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Melbourne, FL; The Sound Hotel Seattle Belltown, Tapestry Collection by Hilton; and The Sire, Tapestry Collection by Hilton in Lexington, KY.

Hilton Garden Inn Kicks Off 2018 with Four New Properties

Hilton Garden Inn has opened four properties in 2018: Hilton Garden Inn Edmond Oklahoma City North; Hilton Garden Inn Jackson, TN; Hilton Garden Inn San Antonio Downtown; and Hilton Garden Inn Bucharest Old Town in Romania.

Some of the features that guests will experience in the recently revamped prototype hotels include reconfigured public spaces with a bar­-centric focus, more natural light and redefined meeting spaces with multifunctional features. Guestroom enhancements include nature-­inspired design.
