HB ON THE SCENE: Cetis Introduces Teledex M Series Standard Phones With USB Charging Ports

AUSTIN, TX—Cetis, Inc. has released Teledex M Series Standard hotel phones with USB charging ports on all single and two-line, analog and VoIP, corded, and cordless phones, and RediDock remote cordless handset kit models. The company debuted the new phones at HITEC.

M Series Standard telephones are available with five or 10 configurable guest service keys on desk sets, and zero, three or six guest service keys on the new front/rear facing RediDock remote cordless handsets. Cordless models support up to four handsets, including one on the base and three remotes. A clear plastic M Series Standard faceplate module encapsulates the customizable paper faceplate to communicate a professional image in the room, and simplify faceplate installation and maintenance, according to the company.

According to John Grubb, VP sales & marketing, Cetis, Inc., “With guests bringing an average of two to five mobile devices into the room, M Series Standard USB charging ports are a welcome plugin for road warriors, as well as families that may have forgotten to pack a charging device.”

Patented OneTouch voicemail technology is also a standard feature available on M Series Standard models. With a single touch of the blinking red voice mail key, it auto-dials the guest’s voicemail and turns on the speakerphone. Guests can hear their messages hands-free over the telephone speaker or via the handset for greater privacy.
