Hatchett Hospitality Expands Headquarters, Sales Staff

MEMPHIS—Hatchett Hospitality, a supplier of furniture, fixtures and equipment, is expanding its headquarters here as well as its national sales staff.

A 3,300 sq. ft. expansion of its facility here will significantly enhance its services to hoteliers, according to Glen Hatchett, president and founder of Hatchett Hospitality. The company currently operates a 2,000 sq. ft. design center and showroom in Bartlett, TN, about 20 miles from its Memphis facility. The Bartlett facility will close and five personnel will transfer to Memphis.

As part of the consolidation, Chris Robinson, Hatchett Hospitalitys vp, sales and purchasing, who is currently based at the companys design center and showroom in Griffin, GA, will transfer to Memphis.

Hatchett is also adding David Tibbs and Ami Patel to its national sales staff, effective immediately. Tibbs joins the company as director of business development, based in Michigan, with responsibility for building a variety of new market opportunities. He has 35 years of hospitality experience, including most recently as director of business development for Beyer Brown and previously as COO of American Hotel Furnishings Company.

Patel becomes regional director of sales, based in Houston. Her five years in hospitality sales include positions with Guest Supply and Ritz Carlton.
