FLORENCE, ITALY—After a three year restoration, the Whythebest Hotels group is set to reopen the Grand Hotel Villa Cora here December 26.
The Grand Hotel features three structures: the 30-suite Main Villa, the 14-room Villino Eugenia and two-unit La Follie.
Added to the property was a spa with a tepidarium, hydro massage, sauna, hammam, small gym and a beauty and wellness center. Also added was a heated outdoor swimming pool that overlooks the Boboli Gardens.
The hotel added two restaurants. The first is in a garden (open May to October) while the second is located in the Villa’s ancient cellars.
Public space also was restored.
The Grand Hotel Villa Cora is part of Whythebest Hotels, a new group of Italian hotels. Whythebest is comprised of six hotels representing 1,800 rooms.
