Gaylord Q2 Results Skewed By Flood

NASHVILLE, TN—Gaylord Entertainment reported a second-quarter 2010 loss, due in part to costs associated with the flood here earlier this year that closed its flagship Opryland Resort.

Excluding Opryland, RevPAR for the companys hotels increased 5.1% in the quarter, compared to the same period last year.

Gaylords Nashville properties have been closed since the flood in May. The Opryland Resort is scheduled to reopen in November.
