G6 Hospitality Kicks Off Annual Conference; Grows Portfolio

WAIKIKI, HI—G6 Hospitality, which includes the Motel 6 and Studio 6 brands in the U.S. and Canada, has kicked off its annual convention at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort here.

As the conference got started, the company announced the signing of a multi-unit agreement with Positive Investments Inc., which added 17 new properties to the G6 portfolio. The agreement brings the company closer to achieving its goal of opening 150 properties in 2014, which represents a 48% increase over last year’s franchise development.

Jim Amorosia, president and CEO, G6 Hospitality, addressed attendees: “This is an exciting time for Motel 6 and Studio 6. We are growing faster than any other economy chain and becoming a fully balance, owned and franchised enterprise devoted to a Heart for Service.”
