DENTON, TX—Frontera Hotel Group added two hotels here to its portfolio of managed properties: an 88-room, four-story La Quinta Inn & Suites and a 92-room, four-story Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites.
Both properties recently underwent extensive renovations and were acquired on July 1, 2014 by Angel Hospitality Inc., in Frisco, TX.
“We focus on three simple, but essential goals: to maximize revenue and to minimize costs, and in the process, to increase the value of properties for owners,” stated Frontera’s President/CEO Peter Bheda. “Currently, we are aggressively but responsibly exploring additional ownership and management opportunities at midscale and upscale limited-service hotels in the U.S., Mexico and the Caribbean.”
Dallas-based Frontera now manages 12 hotels in Texas, Georgia, Wisconsin and California, with ownership in two of the properties.
