Renaissance Phoenix Downtown
Located in the epicenter of the city’s vibrant downtown district, the Renaissance Phoenix Downtown has recently completed a multimillion-dollar makeover.
The $13-million renovation, which commenced in June 2016, included modernizing the exterior of the building and relocating the hotel entrance and valet; a complete redesign of the hotel lobby; the addition of its new signature restaurant, Dust Cutter, and the largest Starbucks in the downtown district, both of which open up onto the historic and now pedestrian-friendly Adams St.
Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger
Outrigger Hotels and Resorts plan to amplify its presence in Hawaii with the changeover of its owned and managed 496-key Holiday Inn Resort Waikiki Beachcomber to an Outrigger-branded property. As of Feb. 1, 2018, the property will operate as Waikiki Beachcomber by Outrigger with extensive $25-million renovations anticipated for completion in summer 2018.
Incorporating contemporary Hawaiian-inspired design, there will be a complete renovation to the guestrooms, pool deck and public spaces, as well as the lobby, corridors, elevator and hotel exterior. The design team from Hart Howerton has been retained as the project architects from concept to completion, with luxury interior-design firm SFA Design steering the coastal decor.
Extended Stay America East Providence

Guestrooms have been completely updated with new kitchens, bathrooms, furniture and special features such as Sleep and Stow beds that merge the comfort of Serta with elevated platform frames for convenient storage of luggage and larger personal items, according to the brand.
The rooms are also outfitted with fully equipped contemporary kitchens with quartz countertops, loft-style cabinets, full-size refrigerators and cooktops, as well as ConverTables tables, which convert from work space to dining area. Additional amenities include pet-friendly rooms, free grab-and-go breakfast and an on-premise laundry facility.
