CHILLICOTHE, MO—The Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott has opened here, with reimagined public spaces and guestrooms. Located at 220 Business Highway 36, the 78-room hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Ehrhardt’s Macon, LLC of Hannibal, MO.
This is the first Fairfield Inn & Suites in the area to feature the brand’s new design and decor. There is an updated exterior with a signature tower, a curved porte-cochere and a glass entrance. Once inside, the open public space is filled with natural light and views throughout the lobby.
In the lobby area, there is a natural color palette of green, blue and orange. The space has a connect-and-print area that offers standing and seated internet stations. The focal points in the living area include a natural stone hearth, organic-shaped sofa and lounge chair. Drinks and snacks are available in the 24/7 Corner Market.

The brand’s signature decor is flexible and functional, with a work area, an ergonomic chair, task lighting and electrical outlets. Inspired by nature, the room design features organic patterns and fresh colors, blending wood tones with bright pops of color. There is a couch, refrigerator, coffeemaker and microwave in each room.
Additional amenities include an indoor swimming pool, an exercise room, valet laundry service, complimentary WiFi, as well as fax and copy services.
