Executives on the Move: Hapi Appoints Two, Agilysys Adds One

NATIONAL REPORT—Hotel Business is tracking personnel changes in tech companies targeting hospitality companies. Here’s what we found:

Hapi Appoints John Figliolini as VP of Business Development
Hapi has appointed John Figliolini as VP of business development for Data Travel LLC. He has spent the past six years focused on the global hospitality technology sector. Prior to joining Data Travel, Figliolini served as VP of service optimization, Americas for Amadeus, where he spent over five years in various sales and leadership roles. In his new position with Hapi, he will be responsible for the strategic development of partner and hotel client relationships, as well as the go-to-market strategy for critical Hapi partner integrations intended to maximize market share for the company.

Agilysys Adds Dana Jones to Board of Directors
Agilysys Inc. has appointed Dana Jones to the Agilysys board of directors. The appointment of Ms. Jones increases the size of the board to eight members, seven of whom are considered independent directors under Nasdaq rules.

She brings to Agilysys’ board her experience leading and growing cloud-based global businesses. She was CEO of Sparta Systems. Prior to joining Sparta Systems, she was of Active Network, an activity and event management software company. She previously served as CMO and SVP of solutions management for Sabre Airline Solutions, a division of Sabre Corporation.

Hapi Names Sebastien Januskiewicz as Data Architect
Hapi has named Sebastien Januskiewicz as data architect for the company.

Januskiewicz brings a strong hospitality management background to his new role, having spent eight years in front office operations and management for several major European hotel brands during his early career. He made the transition to hotel technology in 2010, managing PMS and integrated solutions as a project manager for Serenissima. Most recently, Januskiewicz served as head of data management and integrations for Snapshot, and has contributed to defining Data Hospitality standards for HospitalityTechnology Next Generation (HTNG).
