DENVER—Eben Clark has joined BakerHostetler as counsel in the hospitality industry and real estate teams.
Most recently with Johnson & Repucci, LLP, Clark has more than 10 years of experience representing developers, lenders, landowners, county governments and homeowner’s associations in Colorado’s resort communities.
He specializes in navigating clients through complicated real estate issues in land use, resort development and hospitality. In his real estate practice, Clark’s counsel and litigation experience spans acquisitions, financing, land use, construction and sales, as well as community association governance and enforcement.
Clark also served as Colorado counsel to a group of European lenders on various projects in the Colorado mountains and Front Range, including the origination, servicing, and foreclosure of a $575 million facility for the development of a large resort village project at Snowmass Village, CO.
“BakerHostetler is pleased to add someone with Eben’s broad real estate experience to our industry-leading hospitality team. The diversity of his experience in resort projects will help BakerHostetler continue to provide value to our clients in the Rocky Mountain region and nationally,” stated Raymond L. Sutton, managing partner.
“We’re seeing an uptick in hotel and resort acquisitions and development projects across the U.S., and we expect that Eben will provide yet another enhancement to an already strong practice area for BakerHostetler,” said Partner John Melicharek Jr., leader of the firm’s Hospitality Industry practice.
