In Atlanta, a Dual-Brand Opens
Noble Investment Group and Marriott International have opened the dual-branded AC Hotel Atlanta Midtown and Moxy Atlanta Midtown in Midtown’s business and arts district. With a combined 288 rooms and suites, this is the first-ever combination of the AC Hotels by Marriott and Moxy Hotels brands under one roof. These new additions mark the first Moxy Hotel in Georgia and the third AC Hotel in Atlanta.
The hotels have a rooftop with a pool, bar, meeting space, fitness center, food and beverage options and an outdoor entertaining area. McKibbon Hospitality is the operator for both hotels.
TownePlace Suites Opens in Salt Lake City Near Attractions
Kimball Investment Company and Woodbury Corporation have opened TownePlace Suites by Marriott in downtown Salt Lake City. Kimball Investment orchestrated this development and partnered with Woodbury Corporation, which will manage the hotel. Beecher Walker Architects designed the project and Rimrock Construction was the general contractor.
The 95-suite hotel is across from the Calvin L. Rampton Salt Palace Convention Center. It is also at the core of the central business district and close to the downtown area’s other attractions, including Temple Square, the Eccles Theater, the Gallivan Center and the Vivint Smart Home Arena.
Now Open: Three Fairfield Inn & Suites Properties
The 82-room Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in El Reno, OK, is scheduled to open on Jan. 21 with new decor. The hotel will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Sky Hospitality Inc. and managed by Hotel Equities of Atlanta.
In Fayetteville, AR, the 94-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Fayetteville is now open. It will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by I Square Management LLC of Little Rock, AR.
In El Dorado, AR, the 75-room Fairfield Inn & Suites El Dorado is also scheduled to open on Jan. 21 with new decor. The will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Blossom Town LLC and managed by Shinn Enterprises Inc.
