SCOTTSDALE, AZ—Destination Hotels & Resorts has added the Scottsdale Resort and Conference Center, located here, to its portfolio. it joins two other Destination Hotels & Resorts properties in the Phoenix market, Royal Palms Resort and Spa and Tempe Mission Palms.
The resort will undergo a series of renovations starting in 2015, including a rebranding to support the new positioning and renovations of the resort.

The resort features 326 guestrooms, casitas and suites with the residential ambiance of private haciendas, according to the company. More than 80,000 sq. ft. of indoor and outdoor meeting space is available, including 50 meeting rooms accommodating groups of up to 1,000. The phased renovations in 2015 will focus on re-concepting the resort’s social spas, including the development of a lobby bar and restaurant, as well as reviving the resort’s existing restaurant outlet and refreshing the resort’s pools and amenities. McCormick Ranch Golf Club will continue to be available, as well as its two adjacent championship golf courses, the Palm and Pine Courses.
