NATIONAL REPORT—Crescent Hotels & Resorts is now managing an Embassy Suites in Philadelphia and a Sheraton in San Antonio, plus Chandler Hotels takes over a Best Western in the Midwest. Here are more details:

Crescent to Manage Hotels in Philadelphia and San Antonio

Crescent Hotels & Resorts will manage the Embassy Suites by Hilton Philadelphia Valley Forge. The 229-suite hotel is located near downtown Philadelphia. There are event spaces for up to 150 guests, a pool with sundeck, fitness center, complimentary cooked-to-order breakfast, complimentary drinks and snacks at a nightly evening reception. In addition, signature restaurant The Grille at Chesterbrook and the E Bar Lounge are available for dining and cocktails. All of the suites have complimentary WiFi, a private bedroom, separate living room and an LCD TV.

Crescent Hotels & Resorts also will manage The Sheraton Gunter Hotel San Antonio. Close to River Walk in downtown, this historic landmark hotel has 322 updated rooms and more than 19,000 sq. ft. of meeting space that can accommodate more than 1,000 guests. The pet-friendly hotel has 15 different event spaces, a pool, fitness center, Sheraton Club Lounge, the Market on Houston restaurant and Bar 414. In addition, the hotel has an old-fashioned barbershop with barber chairs from the 1920s.

Chandler Hotels to Manage Best Western Plus in Illinois

Chandler Hotels Incorporated has signed a multi-year management agreement with the new owner of the Best Western Plus East Peoria in East Peoria, IL. Chandler Hotels Inc. will manage the 85-room property providing day-to-day oversight, monthly revenue maximization reporting, marketing, risk management assessment and monthly forecasts based on detailed profit and loss reports. Chandler Hotel Group, a full service provider of investment brokerage services, completed the sale of the Hotel.

The hotel is located in a regional hub in northeastern Illinois, an academic center home to Bradley University, Methodist College and Saint Francis Medical College as well as corporate demand generators such as Caterpillar Inc., OSF Healthcare and Illinois Mutual Life Insurance.
