SAN FRANCISCO—Craig Martin has been named hotel manager for The Westin St. Francis, responsible for assisting the area managing director in planning, organizing, staffing, directing and supervising the historic hotel.
His specific duties include overseeing the financials, ensuring guest and associate satisfaction and community relations.
Martin brings more than 15 years of hospitality experience to his new position. He begain his career as an assistant front office manager at the Warwick International Hotel in Denver, CO, working his way up to his most recent position as general manager of Aloft Tucson University. Martin also has worked in Tucson, AZ, at the Hilton El Conquistador Golf & Tennis Resort and The Westin La Paloma Resort & Spa, followed by the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, holding positions in hotel operations, including director of front office, service express manager, director of rooms, director of food and beverage, director of operations and hotel manager.
