MIDLOTHIAN, TX— Courtyard by Marriott Midlothian Conference Center is scheduled to open here this week.
The 102-room hotel is owned by an affiliate of Gatehouse Capital of Dallas and managed by Aimbridge Hospitality of Plano, TX.
Featuring Courtyard’s latest contemporary room design, guestrooms will offer hybrid zones for working, sleeping and relaxing. Indirect lighting, a neutral, tone-on-tone color palette, signature furniture and architectural elements are featured. The design also features a desk on wheels, allowing guests to work from anywhere in the room. In the bathrooms, a shower nook houses shampoos and towels.
The Courtyard Midlothian Conference Center also will offer the Refreshing Business lobby environment. Along with media pods, complimentary WiFi and a variety of seating zones, the lobby also will feature The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect, offering casual, flexible seating; easy access to food and healthful menu options for breakfast; and light evening fare, including snacks, cocktails, wine and beer.
The business library will feature several computer terminals, along with a printer and separate computer stations dedicated to printing airline boarding passes and checking flight status.
The four-story hotel also will offer an outdoor swimming pool with a sports court, fitness center and guest laundry, and 1,204 sq. ft. of meeting space to accommodate functions of up to 100 persons. There also is an existing full-service 40,000-sq.-ft. conference center adjacent to the hotel.
Nearby attractions include downtown Dallas and Ft. Worth, AT&T Stadium and Six Flags Over Texas.
