BRIDGEPORT, WV—Courtyard Bridgeport Clarksburg is opening here on August 1, 2014, with its innovative lobby and room design.
The hotel will feature Courtyard’s Refreshing Business lobby environment with media pods, WiFi and various seating zones. The GoBoard, a key component of the new lobby, offers local information, maps, weather and headline news on a 55-in. LCD touch screen. It features mobile integration that allows guests to send directions from the GoBoard to their smartphones. Flight information for local airports, population entertainment and local event information and walking directions are also available through the GoBoard.

The property will feature 102 rooms with a workspace, separate seating area and complimentary in-room, high-speed Internet. The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect. venue offers healthy menu options for breakfast and light evening fare, such as snacks, cocktails, wine and beer. Starbucks coffee is also available. The MarketTM is a 24/7 shop for snacks, beverages and sundries.
It will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned by Shaner Investments LP and managed by State College, PA-based Shaner Hotels.
