Courtyard by Marriott Opens 10th Hotel in Mexico

QUERETARO, MEXICO—Marriott International recently opened the 156-room Courtyard by Marriott Queretaro, the 10th hotel for the brand in Mexico.  

Courtyard, which is Marriott International’s largest brand in terms of hotels, also has the greatest portfolio presence in Mexico within the company. In total, Courtyard by Marriott operates 22 hotels with 3,507 rooms in 11 countries just in the Caribbean and Latin America, with more than 20 hotels in the pipeline and scheduled to open in the next three years.

“The opening of this great, new hotel reinforces our rapid expansion in Mexico and validates the popularity and recognition of the Courtyard by Marriott brand that offers intuitive style and the highest-quality service and comfort,” said Craig S. Smith, president of the Caribbean & Latin America at Marriott International. 

Other Mexican Courtyard by Marriott properties include the 153-room Courtyard by Marriott Toluca Airport, 200-room Courtyard by Marriott Cancun Airport, 288-room Courtyard by Marriott Mexico City Airport, 129-room Courtyard by Marriott Monterrey, 175-room Courtyard by Marriott Monterrey San Jeronimo, 154-room Courtyard by Marriott Puebla, 155-room Courtyard by Marriott San Luis Potosi, 184-room Courtyard by Marriott Toluca Tollocan and the 140-room Courtyard by Marriott Leon at the Poliforum.
