SEATTLE—Coast Gateway Hotel has ramped up it tech offerings, installing a FlyteBoard airport flight information display inside the hotel’’s lobby.
The display shows real-time airline arrival and departure times for SeaTac International Airport.
Tonya DeLaCruz, general manager of the hotel, noted, ““If guests see their flight is delayed, they can postpone their shuttle to the airport and relax in our lobby. “If their evening flights are canceled, guests frequently extend their stay…Our guests use the FlyteBoard instead of calling their travel agent or searching online if they need to change their flights. It is faster and more convenient. Our night staff also watches the board for canceled flights so they can call the affected airline to offer rooms to distressed passengers. This is a win/win for our guests and the property.”
