GREENBELT, MD—Chesapeake Hospitality has expanded its leadership team by recently promoting a team member and hiring three new individuals.
Jay Molitor joins Chesapeake as regional VP of operations. He previously served as VP of operations at Millennium Hotels and Resorts. He comes to Chesapeake with more than 15 years of executive experience overseeing Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, Starwood, Wyndham and IHG properties.
As Chesapeake Hospitality’s new regional VP of operations, Deborah Chamberlin comes to Chesapeake after a long tenure with Janus Hotels and Resorts where she most recently held the position of EVP of operations. She has 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
Previously Winegardner & Hammons Hotel Group’s GM, Paul O’Connor joins Chesapeake as regional VP of food & beverage operations. He most recently served as a corporate level task force specialist to execute organization-wide initiatives to develop talent, troubleshoot issues at various hotels and lead task forces for hotel openings. Paul is also classically trained as a chef and has years of international experience in high volume, luxury food and beverage operations.
Mike Long has been promoted to area director of the Hollywood Beach Complex. For the past seven years, Long has led efforts at the Crowne Plaza Hollywood Beach.
