Charlestowne Hotels signed an agreement to manage four Chicago properties, while Davidson Hospitality Group and Hotel Equities have added resorts to their management portfolios.

Charlestowne Hotels to manage four boutique Chicago properties
Hospitality management company Charlestowne Hotels has signed a formal agreement with Avantgarde Hospitality and Reliance Capital Partners to oversee management of its four boutique hotel assets in Chicago; the 63-suite The Ivy Hotel, 55-room The Willows Hotel, 52-room Majestic Hotel and 45-room City Suites Hotel.

Charlestowne has assumed all management responsibilities for the Chicago portfolio, inclusive of revenue management, strategic operations, F&B, human resources, information technology and marketing services.

Charlestowne’s in-house marketing team will spearhead a comprehensive brand refresh for The Ivy Hotel, located near the Magnificent Mile. Charlestowne’s F&B team will support a full brand repositioning of the hotel’s rooftop bar, Sky Terrace, and the refresh will also include a reimagined hotel lobby and support of all back-of-house management and services for the all-suite property.

Davidson expands resort portfolio
Davidson Hospitality Group has signed the Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel in South Lake Tahoe, CA, to be operated under the company’s Davidson Resorts operating vertical. The 399-suite landmark resort is situated at the base of Heavenly Mountain Resort in the Sierra Nevada, close to the Heavenly Gondola.

Lake Tahoe Resort Hotel is the third ski destination property to join the Davidson Resorts portfolio, which is comprised of large-scale, highly activated hotels and resorts with multiple food & beverage outlets, retail and leisure activities.

The resort offers three food & beverage experiences; a heated indoor swimming pool and whirlpool; a fitness center; more than 8,000 sq. ft. of indoor function space; and a seasonal ski valet.

Hotel Equities to manage resort in Canadian Rockies

The resort features 110 suites, each with a stone fireplace, a full kitchenette, authentic mountain decor, gas barbecues on the deck or patio and mountain views.

On-site amenities abound including a number of upscale dining options, a fitness center, a year-round heated outdoor pool and a hot tub.
