Carlson Rezidor Reclaims Radisson Brand Development for Latin America

MINNEAPOLIS—Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has entered into a definitive agreement to resume direct Radisson brand development from Royal Hotels International Inc. (Royal).

We have been a strong player in the region and look forward to further strengthening our position,” said Javier Rosenberg, COO, Americas, Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. “Royal has been a great partner to us for over two decades and helped build the foundation for the growth of the Radisson brand in the region.”

Royal formed Radisson Hotels International Latin America in 1993 in Miami to function as the master licensee for the Radisson brand in much of Latin America. 

As part of the transaction, Carlson Rezidor is expanding and will also assume management operations of hotels in Latin America. The group’s global management expertise now extends across more than 60 countries around the world.
