A Look at Recent Management Deals

NATIONAL REPORT—McKibbon expands in Atlanta, Crestine adds four to its portfolio, Remington is set to manage hotels in Colorado and New York, plus OLS grows in Hawaii. Here’s a closer look:

McKibbon Hospitality Adds Hampton Inn Atlanta Kennesaw
McKibbon Hospitality has added Hampton Inn by Hilton Atlanta Kennesaw to its management portfolio. Owned by Busbee Hotel LLC, the 100-room hotel is located near the Kennesaw Town Center and Kennesaw State University in northwest Atlanta. The new management contract expands McKibbon’s presence in the Atlanta area, where the company currently manages five additional hotels: AC Hotel Atlanta Midtown, Moxy Atlanta Midtown, Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta-Downtown, Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta Downtown and Hampton Inn & Suites Atlanta Buckhead Place.

Crestline to Manage Four Additional Hotels
Crestline Hotels & Resorts LLC has been appointed to manage four additional hotels: the 126-guestroom Hilton Garden Inn Annapolis (Annapolis, MD), the 165-guestroom Hilton Garden Inn Islip/MacArthur Airport (Ronkonkoma, NY), the 102-guestroom Courtyard Syracuse Downtown at Armory Square and the 78-guest suite Residence Inn Syracuse Downtown at Armory Square (Syracuse, NY). The hotels are owned by Apple Hospitality REIT Inc. which selected Crestline to manage the properties.

Remington Hotels to Manage Properties in Colorado and New York
Remington Hotels has signed agreements to manage the Residence Inn Steamboat Springs in Steamboat Springs, CO, and the Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel in Tarrytown, NY. McClurg Century Investments and Cypress 16 selected Remington Hotels to open and manage the Residence Inn Steamboat Springs, Remington’s first property in Colorado. The 110-room, new-build hotel in Colorado’s ski town is anticipated to open in July. Remington Hotels has also entered into management agreement with Lixi Group to manage the 150-room Sheraton Tarrytown Hotel. The 150-room property is located 25 miles outside of New York City, in the Hudson Valley.

OLS Adds Three, Continuing Expansion in Hawaii
OLS Hotels & Resorts continues its growth in Hawaii, adding three new properties to its portfolio: White Sands Hotel, Pacific Monarch and Maui Beach Hotel. Led by local Hawaii hospitality veteran CEO Ben Rafter, OLS Hotels & Resorts currently has partnerships with six other Hawaii properties. OLS Hotels & Resorts manages Renew and Royal Grove Waikiki on Oahu and Plantation Hale Suites and Banyan Harbor Resort on Kauaʻi, in addition to providing key services to Volcano House and Ainamalu at Waikoloa Beach Resort on Hawaii Island.
