A Look at Recent Management Deals

INTERNATIONAL REPORT—Three hospitality management companies have recently added properties to their portfolios.

Interstate Assumes Management of Jupiter Hotels
Aimbridge Hospitality’s international division, Interstate Hotels & Resorts, has assumed management of 31 Jupiter Hotels—the entire portfolio—located across the U.K.

The 31-hotel portfolio includes both Holiday Inn and Accor’s Mercure brands as well as two independent hotels. With the addition of these hotels, Interstate Hotels & Resort’s U.K. presence expands by 3,206 guest rooms.

Aimbridge Hospitality’s International Division operates a pan-European portfolio of 160 properties, including committed pipeline, across the U.K., Western Europe, Eastern Europe and Russia/CIS.

Crestline to Manage Three Massachusetts Hotels
Crestline Hotels & Resorts, LLC has been selected to manage three Massachusetts hotels — the 112-guest suite Residence Inn Boston Marlborough, the 108-guest suite Residence Inn Boston Westford and the 110-guestroom Hampton Inn & Suites Westford-Chelmsford.

Crestline recently received the highest score in the J.D. Power 2020 Third-Party Hotel Management Guest Satisfaction Benchmark of customers’ satisfaction with their hotel stay.

Turnstone Group Selects Sandpiper Hospitality
Sandpiper Hospitality, a Virginia-based hotel management company that specializes in the extended-stay segment, has signed a third-party management agreement with Atlanta’s Turnstone Group to manage the new WoodSpring Suites Atlanta – Newnan, scheduled to open in early February.

Located close to the Piedmont Newnan Hospital and Cancer Treatment Centers of America, The Ashley Park shopping center and Historic Downtown Newnan Square, the hotel will offer 125 suites all featuring a full kitchen, along with a fitness center and laundry room.

Sandpiper currently manages three Extended Stay America hotels in Georgia.
