4 Hilton Openings to Know

MCLEAN, VA—From a soft-brand opening in Chicago to a mixed-use development in Tennessee, Hilton is opening properties across the U.S. Here’s a look at some of the latest:

The Rose Hotel Chicago O’Hare, Tapestry Collection by Hilton 

The Tapestry Collection by Hilton has opened its newest hotel, The Rose Hotel Chicago O’Hare, a new-build property that will be operated by Chicago-based Janko Hospitality.

Designed by The Gettys Group, The Rose Hotel is a 165-room hotel that incorporates fine art-inspired elements, coupled with a contemporary design and unique features. The lobby encompasses a Zebra wall that is 44 ft. long and over 11 ft. high, as well as two abstract wallcoverings featuring the Chicago skyline leading to eight modern meeting and event spaces—each named after roses—totaling 6,000 sq. ft. of functional, flexible space.

Located in Rosemont’s Pearl District and one mile from O’Hare International Airport, The Rose is one of the closest properties to the airport, second to Hilton Chicago O’Hare Airport, and also offers a complimentary shuttle every half hour from 5:00 a.m. to midnight to the airport, as well as regular shuttles to nearby public transit for guests looking to explore downtown Chicago and beyond.

On-site amenities include a large fitness center as well as locally inspired dining and drink options, including R Bar, offering new American cuisine, craft beer and hand-crafted cocktails; in-room dining; or The Market, a grab-and-go option.

Tru by Hilton Louisville Airport

Tru by Hilton Louisville Airport has opened. The 98-room hotel is owned by Garnet Hospitality Inc. and managed by Commonwealth Hotels LLC.

The new hotel is located near Kentucky Fair and Expo Center, the Mega Caverns/Mega Zips Attraction and Churchill Downs.

Tru by Hilton properties feature smaller, more efficiently designed rooms with a mobile desk, large bathrooms with premium bath amenities, a complimentary build-your-own “Top It” breakfast bar with hot items, a 2,880-sq.-ft. lobby with areas for guests to work, play games, eat and lounge, and a 24/7 Eat. & Sip. market with gourmet snacks and drinks, including single-serve wine and beer.

The tech-savvy hotel features mobile check-in, Digital Key, free WiFi, remote printing, a social media wall, lobby tablets and accessibility to outlets everywhere, according to the company. Additionally, Tru by Hilton properties offer fitness centers that leverage the latest fitness trends including barre, TRX bands, free weights, cardio and flexibility gear.

Homewood Suites by Hilton Pleasant Hill Concord 

The All Suites brands by Hilton have hit a new milestone—the opening of the brand category’s 1,000th property, Homewood Suites by Hilton Pleasant Hill Concord in Pleasant Hill, CA. With a collective 588 properties in the pipeline, the All Suites brands are poised for continued rapid growth throughout North America, the Caribbean, Mexico and South America.

The 115-suite hotel, developed, owned and managed by WRSJG LLC, offers a combination of studio and one-bedroom accommodations, featuring fully-equipped kitchens, and separate living and sleeping areas. Amenities include complimentary daily full hot breakfast, evening social Monday-Thursday, WiFi and a grocery shopping service.

The hotel also has an outdoor pool area, an outdoor patio, BBQ pits, a fitness center and flexible space for meetings and social events of up to 50 guests.

Hampton Inn by Hilton Chattanooga East Ridge

Vision Hospitality Group Inc. opened the 88-room Hampton by Hilton located in East Ridge, TN. The hotel is part of the 50-acre Jordan Crossing development that will include more than 300,000 sq. ft. of retail, restaurants and hotels, all at the entrance to one of the largest sports recreation parks in the State of Tennessee, Camp Jordan Park.

The hotel is accessible from both I-24, and I-75, and includes an outdoor pool with enhanced features and a state-of-the-art fitness facility and business center.

The company’s partnership with Hilton continues to expand as Vision plans to open five additional Hilton-branded hotels by the end of 2019.
