Three Personnel Changes to Know

NATIONAL REPORT—Hotel Business is tracking personnel changes in the industry. Hotel Equities, Choice Hotels International Inc. and McKibbon Hospitality have made moves. Here are the details:

Hotel Equities Promotes Bryan DeCort to EVP
Hotel Equities (HE) has named Bryan DeCort to the position of EVP. He reports directly to Brad Rahinsky, HE’s president & CEO. He has more than 25 years of experience in hospitality and operations. Since joining Hotel Equities in 2017, he has helped restructure the organization’s operational platform to aid in the company’s growing portfolio of hotels. Prior to joining HE, DeCort served in a series of executive level positions at luxury hotels with Marriott International and Omni Hotels. He also spent a portion of his career in multi-unit leadership roles with two national parking companies.

Choice Hotels Welcomes Michelle Masters as Regional VP of Franchise Services
Choice Hotels has tapped Michelle Masters as the company’s regional VP of franchise services, Northeast region. Masters brings more than 20 years of experience in operations and management to Choice’s franchise services team. Prior to joining Choice, Masters served as a regional VP of franchise operations for Radisson Hotel Group, where she developed and implemented strategies to help the company’s hotel owners streamline operations, optimize profitability and increase customer loyalty. Earlier in her career, Masters held various leadership positions related to hotel operations, compliance and sales.

McKibbon Hospitality Names Four New VPs
McKibbon Hospitality has named four new VPs: Inger Oliver, VP of revenue management; Lauren Bowles, VP of communications; Ben Hom, VP of human resources; and Scott McDowell, regional VP of operations.
