Three Hotels Open in the Pacific Northwest

NATIONAL REPORT—Guests traveling to the Pacific Northwest have a few new options to choose from.

Graduate Eugene

Graduate Hotels has opened Graduate Eugene, a 275-room hotel located close to the University of Oregon. Features of the property include The Fir, a lobby-level restaurant with an outdoor beer garden; Poindexter, the hotel’s all-day café serving coffee roasted from Coffee Manufactory; and a Topgolf Swing Suite.

Upon entering the hotel, guests are welcomed by the front desk, which doubles as a shoe display case. The 43-shoe Nike collection, curated by Ben Weprin, Graduate Hotels’ CEO and founder, features a range of models designed by the Eugene-founded company between inception and 1980.

Archer Hotel Redmond

Archer Hotel Redmond has opened in the heart of the open-air Redmond Town Center. The 160-room luxe boutique hotel, located in Seattle’s high-tech eastside suburb, was designed by LK Architecture Inc. The seven-story building was designed to reflect the spirit of modern northwest architecture. The casually elegant setting is best described as “Northwest industrial chic,” according to the hotel,

Amenities include Archer’s Kitchen + Bar (AKB), The Market; an on-site fitness studio featuring Matrix Fitness equipment and an Isawall training wall; an indoor pool (complete with complimentary pool toys and towels) and more. Archer Hotel Redmond has more than 10,000 sq. ft. of flexible indoor event and meeting space for groups of up to 150.

LodgeWorks Partners, L.P., the owner, developer and operator of Archer Hotel, made a strategic decision to bring sophistication to suburbia with an expansion plan that included upscale suburbs that had a need—and an audience—for boutique hotels once reserved for major cities. After openings in New York City, Austin and Napa, Archer welcomed two suburban properties last year in Burlington, MA, and Florham Park, NJ. Archer Hotel Redmond marks the third hotel in Archer’s suburban portfolio and the sixth for the expanding brand.
