Ted Lorenzi Joins Marcus Hotels & Resorts as VP of Engineering and Sustainability

Milwaukee, WI—Marcus Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation, based here, has named Ted Lorenzi as VP of engineering and sustainability.

According to the company, Lorenzi will be responsible for the development, advancement and implementation of engineering, environmental and energy management strategies and sustainability programs throughout the Marcus Hotels & Resorts portfolio.

Prior to his post, Lorenzi has spent more than 30 years in the hospitality industry, including various engineering positions with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, including serving as the chief engineer for the 2,019-room Hyatt Regency Chicago and senior director of engineering for the 800-room Hyatt Regency McCormick, Chicago.

"Ted's vast knowledge of engineering and facilities operations, sustainability practices, project leadership, staff development and resources management will be valuable as we continue to grow our hotel portfolio," concluded Thomas F.
