ORLANDO, FL—ProfitSword posted another year of growth in 2013, adding eight new management company clients/partners and one new ownership group client/partner.
The management companies include Alliance Hospitality, Inc., Destination Hotels & Resorts, Hospitality Ventures Management Group, John Q. Hammons Hotels & Resorts, M&R Hotel Management, NewcrestImage Hotels, North Central Group and Prism Hotels & Resorts. The Ownership Group is Ashford Hospitality Trust, Inc. Together, these companies represent 366 hotels.

ProfitSword provides five different software solutions for hospitality, depending on the needs of the organization/portfolio. Three of the applications—ProfitSage, ProfitPlan, and ProfitPace —were developed originally as tools for hotel-level managers; however, each of these solutions contain roll-up reporting features for the corporate office/above property management team and owners. The fourth application, called ProfitWizard, is an ad-hoc reporting and analysis solution using Microsoft Analysis Services and cube technology, which allows analysts to create their own dashboards and reports. The fifth and newest application, called ProfitOwner, has features that consolidate both summary and detail data from multiple management companies for ownership/asset management reporting needs. ProfitOwner also includes ProfitWizard for ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
