LAKE BUENA VISTA, FL—B Resort, scheduled to open this summer in the Walt Disney World resort complex, partnered with the Wildlife Foundation of Florida as part of the B Hotels' Humane program.
The program is designed to increase awareness of endangered species native to the destination.
B Resort selected the Gopher Frog, a species endemic to the Southeastern United States that is threatened due to the loss of its natural habitat. A plush frog will be awaiting guests on the bed in each one of the guestrooms. Guests may purchase the plush frogs during their stay and a percentage of the retail proceeds go to the Wildlife Foundation of Florida, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing assistance, funding and promotional support to contribute to the health and well-being of Florida's fish and wildlife resources and their habitats.
Opening in this summer, B Resort integrates "Signature Elements" at the Lake Buena Vista resort, including FreeB Wi-Fi throughout the property; loaner guest iPads; and Monscierge, a digital touchscreen concierge and destination guide. B Resort is situated in the Downtown Disney area and will feature a zero-entry saltwater pool, fire pits; a kids’ zone; and four dining options. All rooms feature the brand’s plush Blissful Bed. Select guestrooms offer bunk beds, kitchenettes and private cabanas.
