MIAMI—Viceroy Miami launched a new Wellness Challenge package, a rigorous 12-week wellness plan that aims to help companies develop a commitment to a healthful lifestyle.
South Florida professionals are encouraged to improve their physical fitness, nutrition and overall wellbeing in a team effort. Groups of up to 15 employees may register for the challenge, where they will participate in weekly personal physical assessments, a weekly group fitness class and 10 one-on-one sessions with a certified personal trainer at Viceroy Miami’s fitness center.
Facilitating healthful eating habits within the workplace is also a focus of Viceroy Miami’s Wellness Challenge. Team participants will have access to a nutritionist and receive 10% off when dining at 15th & Vine Kitchen and Bar, the hotel’s contemporary American tapas-style restaurant that features a diverse selection of small portions.
Laurence Dubey, general manager of Viceroy Miami, stated, “When companies adopt a comprehensive wellness plan as a team, not only is there a decrease in health-related employee costs, but a boost in workplace morale.”
Participants also will have access to The Spa at Viceroy Miami, which includes a 5,000 sq.-ft. water lounge, a redwood sauna, eucalyptus-fused steam room, relaxation lounges and co-ed reflecting pools with views of Key Biscayne. With a diligent workout schedule team members can reward themselves with a 15% discount on all spa services.
At the end of the 12-week team challenge, the employee with the greatest results will be rewarded with a complimentary 50-minute spa service of his/her choice and a Technogym Wellness Ball.
