SPOKANE, WA—Magnuson Hotels has converted 125 Best Western properties to its brands since January 2006.
Roughly 50% of the conversions have occurred within the past 24 months. These properties are located across 34 U.S. states, Canada and the UK.
According to the company, market conditions have contributed to the conversions, since slowing global economic growth and simultaneous hotel industry commoditization have spurred hotel operators to seek lower cost substitutes to regain profits.
