JOLT Act Reintroduced in Congress

Monday April 1st, 2013 - 8:15AM

WASHINGTON–The Jobs Originated through Launching Travel (JOLT) Act has been reintroduced in the House of Representatives.

Initially introduced with strong bipartisan support in last year's 112th Congress, the JOLT Act will expand the Visa Waiver Program, establish a pilot program for the use of secure videoconferencing for visa processing and reduce wait times for visa processing.

The American Hotel & Lodging Association strongly advocates for the passage of this legislation and the JOLT Act will figure prominently in the Association's upcoming Legislative Action Summit being held here on April 23-24.
