KOH SAMUI, THAILAND—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has opened Vana Belle, a Luxury Collection Resort, Koh Samui here.
The newly built resort joins Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit in Bangkok and The Naka Island Resort & Spa in Phuket as The Luxury Collection brand’s third hotel in Thailand.
Vana Belle features 80 pool suites and pool villas with architecture and design that reflects local culture. Each suite and villa offers a private plush pool and balcony along with luxury amenities.
The Vana Spa features relaxation areas, steam facilities, a fitness center and four treatment rooms.
The resort also has two restaurants—Kiree and Panali— and a lobby lounge. The lounge is an open air bar overlooking a grove of palm trees.
The Luxury Collection now has 20 properties in Asia-Pacific and over 85 properties worldwide, with plans to debut in locations like The Castle Hotel in Dalian, China; Palacio del Inka in Cusco, Peru; and the Ajman Palace in the United Arab Emirates.
