STAMFORD, CT–Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. plans to open its 250th mid-market hotel this year, with Four Points by Sheraton alone set to open its 175th property.
In addition to Four Points, the company's other two mid-market brands are Aloft and Element. By itself, Four Points represented more than a quarter of Starwood's openings and property signings in 2012. Four Points is expected to sign more deals in 2013 than ever before in the company's history, in turn, driving growth throughout the world.
