COSTA MESA, CA—The Crowne Plaza Costa Mesa Orange County has opened here, following a conversion from the Hotel Hanford, an independent brand. It is independently owned by Westport Capital Partners and Urban Common LLC and operated by Brighton Management under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group.
The 224-room property was designed by CRDS, Inc. in a style that embodies the relaxed Southern California vibe. It offers 9,000 sq. ft. of meeting space, complimentary high-speed Internet access, in-room dining and rainwater showers. In the coming months, the hotel will undergo a restaurant concept and menu change under the leadership of new Executive Chef Ruben Gonzalez.
