TUCSON, AZ—The Best Western Plus Hotel and Suites, Tucson International Airport has completed a $3-million rebrand and renovation.
Formerly the Clarion Hotel Airport, HSL Properties purchased it for $4.5 million in 2011. This reflag marks Best Western’s reemergence in the Tucson Airport market.
All 142 guestrooms and suites were refurbished with new carpet, soft seating, furniture, digital A/C units, 42-in. flat screen TVs and bedding.
The hotel’s meeting and banquet spaces, 5,000 sq. ft. in all, received new window treatments, ceilings, banquet chairs and tables.
In addition, the restaurant and bar were rejuvenated with a more modern atmosphere. The fitness center features all new equipment, and the pool and spa areas were resurfaced with new custom tile decking and lounge furniture.
