Four Seasons Hotel Beijing Opens

BEIJING—The Four Seasons Hotel Beijing, a 313-room property located in the Liangmahe area of the Central Business District, has opened here.

The hotel features a façade designed to be reminiscent of the city’s Imperial Palaces and a skylit central atrium adorned with calligraphic art entitled Landscape of Desires by Qin Feng.

Dining options include two restaurants and three lounges from Executive Chef Martin Knaubert. The Opus Lounge offers an Afternoon Tea including Golden Dragon Tea, treats laced with truffles and caviar, cakes, Champagne and a two-hour massage at the Spa. Meanwhile, Opus Bar serves up premium liquors, Champagne and cigars. Guests can get Cantonese cuisine at Cai Yi Xuan and Italian fare at Mio. The Tea Garden features an installation of polished steel butterflies from Australian artist Jayne Dyer.

The property also offers a 24-hour business center, an Executive Club Lounge, and a spa consisting of 11 treatment pavilions, whirpool and fitness center. The 35,000 sq. ft. of meeting spaces include the 9,700-sq.-ft. Imperial Ballroom and the smaller Beijing Ballroom.

This is the third Four Seasons hotel to open in China in 2012.
