Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas Expands Portfolio

BANGKOK—Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas is expanding its portfolio in Asia, Europe, South America, Northern Africa and the Caribbean with the addition of nine new resorts and four spa/wellness clubs.
According to the company, these new properties will help to redefine the brand on a global scale with the addition of its first ski resort, urban hotel and three resort projects located at UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
Over the next 36 months, Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas will double the number of resorts to encompass 18 properties and 33 spas/wellness clubs worldwide.
The new resorts include Senses Mont Blanc, a 32-suite mountain top property in Southeastern France, opening in 2015; Six Senses Wuma, comprised of 50 suites and villas, opeing in Taiwan in 2016; Six Senses Cartagena, the group’s first project in South America, opening in Colombia in 2016; Six Senses Ninghai in Southeastern China, which will offer 129 villas; Six Senses Uluwatu in Bali, a 120-suite and villa resort; and Six Senses Gammarth in Northeast Tunisia, which will offer 67 suites and pool villas, as well as 31 residences.
Additionally, these previously announced resorts will open: Six Senses Qing Cheng Mountain in China in 2014; Six Senses Bhutan in 2016; and Six Senses Freedom Bay in St. Lucia in 2016.
