Nichols Joins Waterford Hotel Group as VP of Development

WATERFORD, CT—Peter Nichols has been named VP of development for Waterford Hotel Group, based here. In his new role, Nichols will direct all development efforts for Waterford Hotel Group, including third-party management and investment opportunities.
Nichols joins Waterford Hotel Group from his most recent role as VP for Hodges Ward Elliott, a position he held for more than 10 years, during which time he participated in more than $5.7 billion worth of hotel transactions. Previously, Nichols served as president and founder of Signature Hotel Group and as regional manager/general manager for Promus Hotels.
“Waterford has tremendous potential to grow and expand its impressive hospitality portfolio,” stated Nichols. “I look forward to sharing my insight with the Waterford team and capitalizing on the company’s outstanding track record as a leading hotel owner, developer and operator.”
