Starwood Hotels Expands Presence in Thailand

HUA HIN, THAILAND—Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. today announced its Sheraton brand has expanded its footprint in Thailand with the opening of Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas in Prachuap Khirikhan located here.
Honor Business Company Limited, a Bangkok-based property development firm, owns the converted and rebranded 55-villa property and 240-room Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa. Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas offers a prime beachfront location, approximately 22 kilometers south of Hua Hin.

Sheraton Hua Hin Pranburi Villas is the newest addition to Starwood’s portfolio of 21 properties in Thailand under eight of its brands: St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, W Hotels, Sheraton, Westin, Le Méridien, Aloft and Four Points by Sheraton. Sheraton currently operates four hotels in the Thai kingdom, including Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Spa, Sheraton Krabi Beach Resort and Sheraton Pattaya Resort.
Guests can choose between one-bedroom Pool Villas, Pool Villa Suites with an additional living room, and Duplex Pool Villa Suites with a ground-floor living room and bedroom on the first floor. For larger groups, the hotel also offers the Pranburi two-bedroom Pool Villa Suite. All Villas offer a private swimming pool, sun lounge, wall garden and the service of professional villa butlers.
Rooms are equipped with the king-sized Sheraton Sweet Sleeper Bed; sunken outdoor bathtub surrounded by lotus ponds and a rain shower in the garden; LCD flat panel TV; DVD player, including a I-Home docking station; spacious work area; and High Speed Internet Access.
