AUSTIN, TX—The Renaissance Austin Hotel has completed a $12-million renovation reflecting elements of the local culture. The hotel in Austin provides convenient access to Lake Travis and Lake Austin, historic University of Texas at Austin, the famous Sixth Street and State Capitol.
All of the 492 guestrooms and 74 suites of the Lake Travis hotel received new carpet, wall vinyl and furniture. Other upgrades include new beds with modern headboards and updated lighting, phones and clocks. Included in every room are thoughtful amenities such as flat-screen, high-definition TVs, all-in-one portable electronics hub and single-serve coffeemakers.
Bathrooms in the guestrooms now feature new showerheads, bathroom tiles and vanity areas with redesigned sinks, lighting and faucets. Fitness and recreation options within the hotel include a fitness center with cardiovascular equipment and free weights, indoor and outdoor pools and a whirlpool.
