Kimpton Appoints New Marketing Manager of FL Portfolio

MIAMI—Biby Banna has been hired as the new marketing manager for Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants’ Florida portfolio. This includes the EPIC Hotel; Surfcomber Miami, South Beach; and Vero Beach Hotel & Spa.
In her new role, Banna will lead marketing and social media initiatives to drive sales, develop packages and promotions and manage social media content, among other duties.
Banna’s past experience includes a role as the content and marketing manager at Gustazos Social Media, Inc. Prior hotel experience includes a stint with Sheraton. In 2010, Banna was named sales and marketing coordinator at Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino. After two years, she transitioned to business development and lead generator at the Sheraton Denver Downtown.
Banna graduated with a Bachelors degree in microbiology from George Washington University. She earned her sales and marketing certification from Sagrado de Corazon University in Puerto Rico.
