LEOMINSTER, MA—DoubleTree by Hilton has added a new property to its portfolio with the opening of the DoubleTree by Hilton Leominster. Formerly a Four Points by Sheraton, the hotel underwent a multimillion-dollar renovation last month that is expected to complete in spring 2014 and will include enhancements to all areas of the seven-story property. The hotel continues to be managed by Driftwood Hospitality Management.
The hotel will unveil a contemporary look with updates throughout the 188 guestrooms and lobby. An upgraded fitness center will feature new, state-of-the-art exercise equipment, and updated food and beverage menus will also roll out at the hotel’s restaurant. Offerings include the brand’s Wake Up DoubleTree Breakfast buffet and a la carte options, as well as pub style fare, chilled cocktails and local brews during lunch and dinner.
With nearly 15,000 sq. ft. of function space, DoubleTree by Hilton Leominster offers 13 flexible meeting rooms and a 7,800-plus-sq.-ft. Grand Ballroom that has 14-ft.-high ceilings. DoubleTree by Hilton Leominster is located along the Johnny Appleseed trail, which connects the Freedom trail in Boston to the Mohawk trail in the western part of the state.
“With its convenient location to leading leisure and business destinations in New England, as well as its tremendous meeting and event offerings, DoubleTree by Hilton Leominster is a perfect addition to our growing portfolio,” stated John Greenleaf, global head – DoubleTree by Hilton. “We look forward to bringing our industry-recognized service culture that is built around the idea of CARE – Create a Rewarding Experience – to guests, team members and the community of Leominster.”
Additional hotel amenities include a heated indoor pool and whirlpool with ADA lifts, 24-hour fitness center, 24-hour business center, and complimentary high speed WiFi Internet access throughout the property and guestrooms.
