Expotel to Manage Milwaukee Airport Hotels

MILWAUKEE, WI—Expotel Hospitality Services, Inc. assumed management of two airport hotels here: the Crowne Plaza and Ramada Plaza.
Located adjacent each another, the hotels are proximate Milwaukee Airport. The Ramada Plaza has 160 guestrooms and 11,000 sq. ft. of banquet and meeting space for up to 325 person and is nearing the end of a nearly $5-million renovation. The Crowne Plaza offers 194 newly remodeled guestrooms, onsite Altitude restaurant and bar, executive floor with lounge, complimentary guest parking, Wi-Fi, shuttle service and 24,000 sq. ft. of meeting space to accommodate up to 2,000 persons.
Both hotels are located near downtown Milwaukee and major attractions, including the sites for Milwaukee Bucks basketball, Milwaukee Brewers baseball and the Harley Davidson Museum.
Valerie Casper, formerly sales director of the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport, was named general manager of the Ramada Plaza Milwaukee Airport. A GM executive search is under way for the Crowne Plaza Milwaukee Airport; John Koss, Expotel’s regional director, is serving as interim GM.
Expotel Hospitality President Kerry Ranson stated, “These two prominent hotel properties serve a vital role in the Milwaukee travel and hospitality mix. Each one is operating under a proven brand flag, and we’re excited about our goal for enhancing both the guest and employee experience at both locations."
