Courtyard in Miami Undergoes Lobby Renovation

MIAMI BEACH—The Courtyard Miami South Beach has begun a renovation of its lobby, which is expected to be completed in September.
According to the hotel, the new design will feature chic décor, a new main desk and a stone wall with vintage photographs of the historic Miami Beach hotel building. An original terrazzo, built in the 1940s and protected as a historical artifact, will be left untouched. The hotel is also adding The Bistro-Eat. Drink. Connect, a café-style restaurant.
The hotel lounge will stay open during the duration of the renovation.
According to the hotel, it does not expect the project to affect guests. However, guests staying during this time will receive a 15% discount on a future stay.

When you hear all the lodging industry projections for the months and years to come, much of the robust growth is forecast to be the result of the expected influx of travelers from China.
